Design: A sophisticated out of the box design made in Khadi fabric and pleasant embroidery tones.
Embroidery: Hand Embroidery in pastel blue and green with mirrors all over the decollate and sleeve portions. This is called Banjara Embroidery, done by the women from a thanda (a small south Indian village) who possess a wealth of embroidery knowledge and skill attained through years of practice.
Fabric and Craft: Khadi- the OG of handlooms. The origins of these textiles can be traced back to the Indus Valley Civilization, which existed from about 3300 BCE to 1300 BCE Khadi is traditionally made from cotton that is spun on a charkha, or Indian spinning wheel, and then woven by hand which symbolizes self-sufficiency and sustainability.
